B&B Hotel Arras Centre Les Places, Arras

The hotel is in a prime location, nestled between the Grand Place and Place des Heros, offering a fantastic setting for exploring the lively cafe culture. While the rooms could use a refresh, a coat of paint would work wonders. The dining options were decent for a quick meal, and the staff were really welcoming. However, the tiny corner cupboard in the room posed a bit of a challenge for storage.

My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, but they could use some attention to detail, like the curtain being difficult to close and the mattress topper slipping off the bed. The need for a refresh was evident, and the shower gel provided was subpar. The service was commendable despite the lack of air conditioning; the staff seemed busy but managed to maintain a good sense of humor and attentiveness. The location, right between the two main squares in Arras, was ideal for exploring the city, with easy access to cafes and nightlife. The dining experience, although not a buffet like other Ibis hotels, offered a well-presented variety of tasty food, requiring a request for more orange juice when supplies ran out. The facilities were sufficient for an enjoyable stay.
